Then they will tell you that they'll give you some certain share of the Smartshoppi-(Online shopping) if you join people under you. Firstof all, the reason why you enter this is because you wanted to make more money and mainly because of the share from Smartshoppi.
There are three groups in this. One is the 60% achievers(For 1lakh people who qualify a certain condition), next is 70% achievers(For 2000 people , higher qualification) and 80% achievers(For top 200 people). To get into 60% achievers, you have to qualify smart1000 (8 people under you) in '60 days' . The timeline will not ever be mentioned by anyone. If you fail to join 8 people under you in 60 days, you have to join 20 people and there is no time limit on that. If you qualify for smart1000 , you'll be in the 60% achievers list. There will be totally 1lakh people under this category. So 60% of the Smartshoppi's profit for one year is taken and then divided between 1 lakh people.{I'll explain the 'catch' in the later stage}.Similarly, for 70% and 80%, there are certain conditions to be fulfilled.
Once you enter, your brain gets trained in such a way to increase sales - people who oppose Smartway , Be it, Friends,Family or relatives will be seen as an enemy . I personally have lost some good friends because of this. You'll lose the ability to reason out and decide things. After sometime, you'll be asked to leave the job and come work in sales full time(because they tell you that , corporate is waste & you must not work under someone . But the irony is you are already working under that leader person only).
Through that MLM(joining people under you), you can earn 30,000 per day (that is the ceiling limit). For this only you'll be undergoing some rigorous training. Very rarely, you'll be sometimes asked to beg for money as a part of the training program.
Now that you are trained and you start putting people under you.
After you qualify for Smart1000, they'll ask you to make yearly purchase of Rs.3000 from Smartshoppi. Now this is very simple for you, because your income comes from Smartway.
But the catch is here. The 60%,70%,80% achievers are the real customers here. They are not the so called shareholders. These achievers have to purchase a certain amount of products from Smartshoppi in the specified duration.
And Smartway, if done properly(you'll have to tell many lies that you have earned more money in less time), will get you 6 customers if you show 10 plans.
Just think about it, if someone doesn't join, they are definitely not gonna purchase in your Smartshoppi.
The second case, if someone joins and they have not completed the smart1000 condition also,(if they have completed,they will earn 8000 rupees from Smartway) they'll not be willing to purchase from Smartway because , they have not even recovered the initial investment of Rs.12,500.
This is because Smartway is their only source of income and they have to eat, sleep and live with that money only.I dont accept the fact that in mlm at one point, you'll be out of people.Because, a lot of child are born everyday. And the whole process of joining doesn't happen within a day, it takes many many years for all of these.The income which you earn will also be spent on yourself as an investment, you'll have to buy branded shoes , car, bike . So it's actually very difficult to save the money.
Why MLM?
A company which doesn't have a brand and which wants to make a brand will opt for this type of system.Now if the people who already have Face value(Trusted by many people) joins the business, it will definitely work out for them. But remember the fact that you are selling the substandard earthi brand to your people(That's why the whole Smartway thing started).

If you pay 3000 yearly, you'll get a very less amount in return.(definitely not more money than that you've paid).
Also there is a problem of multiple ID's. All the leaders will put multiple ID's mostly, and you'll also be urged to put many ID's if you go near deadline for a qualification.
So, the claim that 1 lakh people will spread Smartshoppi is also becoming false. Even if it reaches that much ID's , there will only be 30,000 genuine people in that.
Also they tell that, You have to always compare Smartshoppi when it is 10 months old vs Amazon or flipkart when it was 10 months old. The problem with this is that even when Smartshoppi grows, it will be brought by top companies, not allowing it to grow. So the rules also might change when this happens.The bond which they show for all the achievers is signed on yearly basis.
The final warning:
People who enter this , mostly cant get out because, they will tell you that if you quit now, there are a whole lot of people outside who want to see you fail. So, consider the risks before entering into this.
(Having said all of this, Smartway is 100% legalised and it is actually a genuine company , but my only concern is about the quality of products.)
